The postpartum nurses can teach him that and swaddling at the hospital. Also make sure your DH plans to stay at the hospital the whole time with you (which shouldn't be a big deal if you don't have other kids at home). That way he can learn to take care of baby but ALSO take care of you. Getting you water, helping you out of bed to use the bathroom etc - it's nice not to have to wait for and rely on the nurses all the time and they are busy.[/quote]
