[/quote]If this contract includes paying for ever-shrinking portions of overpriced food with the expectation I will pay an extra 15% or more for someone to fill a glass with water and bring food to my table [i]which is their durn job to do[/], and pay about 10% in food tax and sales tax on top of it all, you can keep your social contract.

I have opted out. I refuse to feel extorted and ripped off for a simple meal where in some cases I am expected to get my own eating utensils and clear the table myself.

A restaurant is not a charity. If a waitress wants extra money, she can rub my feet. I’d tip extra for that. [/quote]
