MCPS. Some take in 10th if they do Honors US in 9th (and no APUSH in HS) but many do AP Gov in 9th then APUSH in 10th. AP World is 11th.[/quote]

Wow!  Very different from most preferred/common track in fcps:
Soph: AP World
Jun: APUS
Sen: AP Gov

That’s like how it was when I was a kid (but no AP for world). But AP Gov is really just a semester class traditionally so I think it makes sense to start with it since it’s less content. Coming off 8th grade US history, it’s a logical path. APUSH is more difficult but builds nicely as a next course after Gov.[/quote]
