This is OP. For those of you saying 30% refund or refund, for the one night without AC? Or the 2 nights with no central AC? Or the full week? We ARE trying to be fair but not taken advantage of. We did our best to fix the issue as soon as we could. Our reviews have all been great so far. We csn control/monitor the thermostat. The warmest it got before we put in the portables was 76. Condo is on ground floor.
You are making excuses. I don’t want to come back to a beach condo that’s 76 degrees on my vacation. It isn’t your fault but you ARE responsible for the cost. You keep saying that you did your best to fix it but that doesn’t matter. You didn’t provide them with what they reasonably expected. Give them 50% off the stay and expect a bad review. Full refund and maybe you can avoid a bad review. They are already probably now stressed about losing money and negotiating that they want a refund and not a week in the off-season. This is why people don’t want to Airbnb! Be a good host.
