He did and he's found his niche in a good place.  We ultimately moved back closer to his job (I got a new one) because we were tired of the travel.

There were times that his being away was hard (esp when I had to also travel) but we developed a good routine and managed it. Fortunately my job was more flexible and if I had to stay home I did. Having an afterschool nanny really helped. I understand you have a disabled child and that adds an additional layer of concern, but I think you should give it a shot. I have a feeling you will be far more resentful of spouse if he is unemployed.  [/quote]
