My kids have never gone to tradition camps.   They go to specialty camps.  My daughter is going to summer dance that you have to audition for.  This year it’s in LA and then NYC. My youngest goes to a basketball program that’s six weeks.

Do your kids not go to the pool? Most families in neighborhoods join an outdoor pool for the summer. They are in or near neighborhoods. They are not called “town pools.”[/quote]

We did off and on when they were little but as teens it’s not a favorite activity     My oldest is in a ballet studio every day all year round except Sundays since she was nine years old.  .  She turned out not to be a very good swimmer and has no real interest, but I did try.  The younger one will go to different pools with friends but otherwise we go to the beach or parks for outside fun.

Really? You think everyone on DCUM who says their teen goes to “the pool” is referring to this one mysterious pool? GTFO. Obviously it’s some neighborhood pool they are members of.[/quote]
