Deposing or killing the current leadership is certainly possible. Crafting a stable government after the current regime falls will likely be impossible.
Our job is to get rid of the current government. Once that is finished, it’s on the Iranians to establish the new government.
Americans and their hubris. You guys never learn and repeat the same failures over and over. This regime change has already been tried and led to Americans being taken hostage. This is what led us to the current Iranian regime.
We should have supported the shah, rather than let the radicals take over. Now this group is intent on implementing sharia law throughout the world. They have already spread it to several countries.
you guys realize the shah also disappeared people, forced women to undress under duress (he outlawed the traditional modest clothes for women which is just as bad as forcing women to wear clothes, telling women how to dress is fascist). His cronies and hs family skimmed off a lot f money and let the Iranian people go hungry and stopped them from developing into a modern nation and he wasn't a historical figure or king- he was a random soldier in the army who was hand picked by the CIA/MI6 and crowned "king" over the Iranians and given an army by the CIA to fight and kill the Iranian prime minister. the iranian prime minister was not religious- he just wanted shell and bp oil companies to give the Iranian people a larger share in Iranian oil. This is all laid out in persepolis- a book that most of our kids had to read in high school.
