[quote=Anonymous][quote=Anonymous]I was swimming laps tonight at our usually quiet pool and my DH and I were the only adults around while we were there. There was a big group of teens who strolled in and a lot of kids without bags or stuff who just swam in workout shorts- it looked like they had come spontaneously from a sports practice or someone’s house. I left my towel on a railing to dry while DH and I ate our dinner nearby and when we gathered out things, my towel was gone and the teens were too. We looked in both locker rooms, the lost and found, and asked the guards in case they had rounded up things early to clean before close, but it was nowhere to be found. It was a sentimental towel (I know that sounds dumb) and also just the right size to wrap easily but not so big and thick that it is hard to wash or dry. I’ve used it at open water swim races, my DD’s early swim lessons, etc. and no one has ever been tempted to grab it off the hundreds of chairs, chaises, railings and fences that it’s been on. Vent over. Teach your idiot boys with low executive functioning skills to pack a towel or air dry, and if you find a towel at your house that isn’t yours, maybe question how it got there.
