1200-1400 calories a day is relatively easy with intermittent fasting.
This. And 125 at your height of 5 7 is ludicrous (and you know it). You should be 135.
+1. Pp is body dysmorphic.
Omg DCUM 125 is within the healthy BMI range for 5'7" Depending on various factors it may be a perfect weight for OP or underweight. - signed, 5'3" and 138 lbs and think I look fine but realize with my small frame it is probably not optimal healthwise
However, taking a medication to go from BMI 22 to 18 isn’t normal/healthy.
OP said she wants to take meds to go to 135. That's vanity, which is completely normal.
PPs are taking about the 125 lbs poster.
Yes, the OP who said she wishes she could get down to 125, but her goal as stated in her OP and the subject of this thread is to lost 10-15 pounds or get down to 135. That's a totally reasonable weight loss goal. If she wants to use drugs to get there that has nothing to do with body dysmorphia. Loads of people are doing it. Do they all have body dysmorphia or are you just feeling a little insecure and lashing out?
DP. Maybe there are situations that are appropriate for using medication to lose merely 10-15 pounds. But to lose 10-15 pounds when the person is not obese - not even overweight - is not one of them. It may or may not warrant a mental diagnosis; but it does seem excessively desiring of a self-determined vision of perfection. Weight loss drugs were not intended for people like this.
