A passport card costs $65 and a passport book costs $130. Given that we don't have national ID cards like other countries, that's the next best thing. [/quote] Good points USA really has low ID and travel demands versus most other developed countries. It started that way due to big brother “privacy” demands, but now it’s out of control with fraudulent IDs, no visa documents, fake names, unpaid bills, don’t even know who’s in the damn country.
