[/quote] No. They have a space for it, but its optional. I sometimes put down my husband's name, if I think he might need to deal with the front desk staff without me. Hotels don't ask for ID except when you're checking in or asking for extra keys. I had one rental manager ask for a copy of my driver's license, but not any of the other guests. I thought that was intrusive, since Airbnb has all of my info. It was an entity that manages rentals nationwide and I decided to never use them again. [/quote]
