Best book for new parents- What to Expect the First Year. It goes into different cries, what their poop should look like, milestones, etc. really practical information. You can probably get a digital copy from your local Library.
š Because OP has plenty of time to read and digest while being a mom to a newborn baby for the first time. Iām the poster who suggested Your Baby Week By Week book. Yes OP probably does have time to read because a lot of moms spend time exhausted but on their phones while nursing or just zoning out feeling depressed. At least, this was me. I had no husband help and looking forward to reading the 8 pages of the next chapter at the end of each week (to tell me what was coming up the next week) was honestly what held me together. The no fuss advice was gentle but straightforward. Like a Mary poppins for moms postpartum.
