The tragedy PP is referring to is the vast death and destruction in Gaza. Even if you believe strongly in Israel's right to defend itself against Hamas (a truly vile organization), you should be capable of recognizing that there's been an unacceptable level of collateral damage in the course of a war that at this point seems to have only the most tangential relationship to Oct. 7.
