All the states people are leaving are blue and all the states people are moving to are red. I'm in Illinois and everyone who moves justifies it "lower taxes" and in the same breath "hope I can do my part to turn Kentucky blue." When have you ever seen Republicans moving into D areas and trying to shake things up?[/quote]

Your data is not accurate. There is a reason housing in FL and TX and rapidly decreasing! Tech folks who moved to Austin are going back to NY and CA. Things are going to get worse for states with natural disasters. I certainly don't want to be in a place with no FEMA and the state is poor.[/quote]
