[/quote] I think older children typically have more of a sense of duty, plus she is so used to caregiving, almost as a distraction to her own needs bc she never found out what those were (hence the need to smoke, drink, have sex when she has any free time…anything but thinking about the meaning of her own life) But yes, of course Simone should not spend one second taking care of her dad and it’s not right to ask her to.[/quote]
