Here's the thing, if it was really about security, it would be required for everyone at all events at the schools. They aren't planning to have these at Back to School night, Football games, Volleyball games, Spring musical, Art show, community use, etc. It is just for show. Teachers do not have to go through, they just use another door. [/quote]

Agree. Why on earth would they purchase a system that requires students to take their laptops out of their bags and hand them to a staff member? I mean get some freaking common sense people. At the mega-schools, there is simply no way to get all the students through in a reasonable time.[/quote]
