As someone who worked for non-profits for near poverty level wages for years, the amount of ignorance (and brainwashing) in this post is astounding.

This was in my youth and DC rents were cheaper.  No trust fund.  No rich spouse.  Just an earnest commitment to making the world a better place.  Believe it or not, that's what motivates some people.  [/quote]

How old are you? You have teens or college kids at these misguided colleges now?
Did you know your Windrow Wilson school and Kennedy school are all canceled and renamed. Pretty cool progress in donor land.
