Working people should be able to afford housing and child care and health insurance and food and transportation. Those are basic necessities, not luxuries.

Do not think you will not have to pay for day care once the kid starts school. Summer camp is expensive and so is aftercare.
After paying for child care and thinking we would have money, the after school was only a little cheaper. And in the end our money did not work out as I had planned, and in the end get by only by putting summer camp on a credit card, that I think I will be able to pay off during the year and that does not happen[/quote]
