+1 Also, you can't stop an 18 year old but that doesn't mean there won't be consequences.  Kid may be 18 and can do what they want, that doesn't mean Mom and Dad are obligated to keep paying for everything.  Refusing to pay college tuition would be going overboard, but chipping in for more college and  living expenses is reasonable if they are an "adult."[/quote]
