Only Congress can suspend Habeas.Corpus.  the only times a president suspended it was when  Lincoln did so when Congress was not in session.

Just stop. Congress has by inaction given all the power to Trump. Trump can do whatever he wants. [b]Trump arrested an elected official on a public streets.[/b] Habeas Corpus is gone.[/quote]
