Even if it becomes a high line like park in the future. They like the remaining industrial vibes of the area under the freeway. It has a film noir feel. That’s why that memorable scene in [u]True Lies [/u]was filmed there. [/quote] I never understood the Whitehurst Freeway hate. People act like it was built on top of a park or a bustling pedestrian promenade instead of directly on top of another road with virtually the exact same dimensions. If you removed it you'd just have another ugly road and M street would take 3 times as long to traverse since you took away its main bypass.[/quote]
