Great in principle but totally negates the human element.

Likewise, if everyone maintained a lower but consistent speed limit at merging locations, with adequate space between themselves and the vehicle ahead, we'd avoid the dreaded stop-and-go traffic.  We'd all get to our destinations faster. [/quote]
