-1. I mean, FCPS was one of the last school districts to go back in person— in the country.  And my DD was back in a HS classroom about 6 weeks after Biden was inaugurated.  Wolftrap had a summer season in 2021, although they sold at reduced capacity for early shows as they phased back in. My son was HS class of 2020 and got to start college in person at a SLAC, but it wasn’t normal.  Class of 2021 had actual graduations in May 2021 (but many used places like Jiffy Lube Live) and started college in a generally normal environment.  I flew with my kids to see their aunt in April 2021 once we were all vaxxed.  And we spent a week with their grandparents in June 2021.

And BTW— soldiers get so many vaccines, in addition to being required to have the standard schedule.  A unit with a Covid, measles or even flu outbreak isn’t mission ready.  In 2021 requiring soldier who are lining in very close quarters on subs and ships to vaxx isn’t loss of freedom. It’s mission readiness.  In fall 2020, before we had vaccines, colleges stuffing kids in dorms were so overwhelmed some had to close and go online.  Not an option for the military.  They needed to get vaxxed.[/quote]

This.  Agree 100%.  When deploying to the Middle East we had to get anthrax vaccines, or when on other deployments often it was typhoid, yellow fever, japanese encephalitis and so on, depending on what was prevalent and a risk.

Unvaccinated soldiers pose a risk to the readiness of the unit.  No vaccine:  Not mission ready, not mission capable, not deployable.  Period.

Get the damn vaccine.

If you actually believe all the disinfo claiming things like "the vaccines are more dangerous than COVID" then god knows what other stupid shit you believe and you probably have no business serving because you are a weak link who could undermine the unit.[/quote]
