I feel like there is one poster (maybe the same person?) who is always questioning why schools are on someone's radar.  Isn't this a place to collect information/experiences?  Does it matter why a school is on someone's radar????????

But to answer your question--we are NOVA  family and DD  is looking for a college that is akin to JMU but that will likely admit her and give her merit.  She's at best a 3.25 GPA.  We heard that Kansas State might fit the bill.  If you have other suggestions, I am happy to hear them. [/quote]
