FWIW, it’s probably a rejection. Try to remember the downsides of VT: annoyingly hard to get to from DC and rural, big and you have to navigate a lot yourself, not an amazing freshman experience from most accounts, ugly architecture, and their football team/ pride and joy has been terrrible lately.

PS I would do this exercise with any school that rejected my kid or waitlisted them. Try it on and see how it feels. [/quote]

We paid our VT deposit yesterday but I’m 100% with this PP. If you need to get over a relationship you don’t spend time thinking about the great things. You remind yourself of the time he farted in his sleep and the way he insulted your grandmother.
