They called RTO to generate attrition and wear down the mental state of Feds. Were some Feds abusing WFH? Absolutely. But that’s not why they did it. As for me - I work in private sector. I’ve “leaned out” and am in a role that only pays $300k because I love having this flexibility. I get to have my cake and eat it too. My company is lucky to pay someone of my caliber only $300k.
