To me, her situation showed that there can be a fine line between “child trafficking” and consensual prostitution. She was 17. I absolutely believe that she was groomed, preyed upon and abused by gross, sick men like Epstein and Andrew. I also believe she enjoyed some “perks” like private jets, spas, gourmet meals. I imagine she was compensated throughout. She also got something like $12 million in a settlement from Andrew. Can’t remember if she got a settlement from Epstein’s estate.

+1 This is a good explanation. She was still a victim and preyed upon by Epstein and others, even if she enjoyed the perks and didn't go running to the police station.

Of course she has mental health and credibility issues. She almost certainly came from an abusive background then she was preyed upon by much older, manipulative men to use for essentially prostitution. That's enough to make anyone have extreme difficulties coping with life and adjusting to reality.[/quote]
