Why don't you just talk to an attorney and see what your options are vs. debating others who have been there/done that. My husband is retired military. He/we have been there/done that far longer than you. We still use a lot of the base services and are very grateful for them. If you decided they are not good enough for you, that is your choice but don't pretend that they are not available.
has great services. I appreciate your husband's service and the part you played as a military spouse. I'm not going to comment on anything else you have said because I think you don't have a full understanding of what I'm trying to say.
You are upset your ex voluntarily raised child support when working two jobs and now he has stepped down to one job and takes the child a reasonable amount of time and think you deserve the higher amount. We've been there/done that with my husband's ex. She took it to court and it ended up being drastically reduced. She also tried to argue for us to pay for her health insurance when ours was very low cost with no co-pays. The judge disagreed with her. You aren't the first or last person to go through this. You have far more resources available to you than the average person from health care to child care to summer camps to activities such as swimming lessons, sports and other stuff on base. If you choose not to utilize them and use higher cost services, then it is your responsibility in less otherwise agreed upon. The other option you have is for you to get a second job when your child is not with you.
