Yup. This was a perfect off ramp, and the GOP didn’t take it.

They didn’t take it when we sided with Russia.

They didn’t take it when Trump threatened to take Greenland by any measure (yesterday).

They didn’t take it when Trump was willing to tank the market with blanket tariffs.
