ODU: “ Old Dominion University is a public research university in Norfolk, Virginia, United States. Established in 1930 as the two-year Norfolk Division of the College of William & Mary…” CNU: “ Christopher Newport University is a public university in Newport News, Virginia, United States. It was founded in 1960 as Christopher Newport College, an extension school of the College of William and Mary…” [/quote] And so were GMU and Mary Washington. But all are universities in their own right.[/quote]
