Anonymous wrote: There are over 6 million multi millionaires (and over) in China. Somebody makes money there since we buy a lot of their stuff. And they want Teslas? That has batteries that catch fire when wet? that trap people inside? that can't hold a charge for long? that have panels that fall off? that trap you inside if you drive into water? That's certainly one way to take out the Chinese without a war, I guess.
You have been reading all the slanted press from the Elon haters. They don't catch on fire any more often than ICE cars. That's a proven fact. In fact they catch on fire less. They don't "trap" people. You are hearing about the rare cases because people like to ding on Tesla. They can hold a charge (WTF?). Any car can trap you inside if you drive into water. Geez. And panels that fall off is a Cybertruck thing. Most of the Teslas out there are not Cybertrucks. I think Teslas were seen as fashionable in China. But all cars are suffering there now and that is why BYD wants to open a new plant in Germany. The market in China is overall soft these days. https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/byd-considers-germany-third-plant-europe-2025-03-17/
