First of all, there is no proof that this is what's intended to happen.  Secondly, the reason why people want harsher punishment for these idiots is because they are afraid soft on crime jurisdictions will let them go unscathed. And this bullying and terrorizing regular citizens will continue.   Not doing a prison sentence for arson is not an option if we want this to stop, yes, it should happen here. Trump released ALL of the J6 criminals, including the ones that killed people. They destroyed the US Capital Building….but Trump thinks it was fine.
