I'm at Heritage Learning Center too, we love it there!
Just curious. I can't tell from the web-site. Are the children predominantly special needs or handicapped? The web-site says that it accommodates any children provided the established program meets the individual needs of the children. I can't tell if they mean that it is a program designed for special needs students or if it is a program that takes all children but can accommodate special needs. It's a little out of our way, but the rates are about 2/3 what we pay and for two, an extra $1000 per month is a lot.
Hi! Heritage takes all children, but can accommodate special needs children. The therapy aspect is rather new, something the new director has implemented, I don't actually know of any special needs or handicapped children there yet. Prices ARE so outrageous for daycare. My husband and I want a 2nd child, but we just don't know how we would afford daycare for a 2nd...it would almost be cheaper for me to quit my job and stay at home....and our daycare is way cheaper than most of the people posting on this thread!
We are at Heritage as well, and have been for about 2 years now. I'm not aware of any special needs children there as of right now, but just that they can accommodate and have made accommodations for future children that may need special attention. They made a special room for I'm assuming outside therapists from the County or family's hired to help children that need special therapy. I love that my child will possibly encounter children of all types- including special needs.
