We need a week plus a day anyway for Easter Monday.  I don’t know why American Christians seem to be oblivious to Easter Monday. I don’t know why or when all the Christian holidays disappeared here.  It’s a huge deal and 2-3 weeks vacation in every country in Europe.  Due to its length it’s easier to have it fairly fixed on the calendar, too. It will also usually cover Spring Equinox which is celebrated in many cultures.

(Im asking seriously) is Easter Monday actually a thing? I thought it was a term that ridiculed how DC students got rowdy and fought each other at places like the Zoo.

I personally would love a 3 week break. spring break camps are much more enjoyable for kids than summer camps. Plus families could have cheaper vacations. I don’t like to travel during the heat of summer. [/quote]
