I had to practically force my employees to work holidays - 99% of them want it off so they can hang out with their families and relax. I know previous posters said that they enjoyed the holiday pay, but I suspect that is the exception, or a reflection of the desperation a lot of retail employees feel (what are they getting paid $9 an hour - who can live on that?).
