Trump won because Americans are idiots. Full stop. APS is reflecting the will and the values of the people who live here. You don’t like it, you are free to find some sundown town where your children will get the “education” you think is good. [/quote]

Most people in Arlington just vote the Dem party line for school board and the “primary” process is flawed so the school board hardly reflects the will of the people. I  hate Trump but do think that democrats in ed policy has become way too focused on trans kids and equity than actual learning. The worst part is that the people pushing this at a national level have their kids in private school. The trends in reading and math score should be a big concern to everyone and yet no one is talking about it because no one cares. [/quote]
