Clubs are dead. The only social climbing club is the Chevy Chase Club, but you mentioned Jack and Jill. And Chevy Chase and some of the other clubs you mentioned have a long history of exclusion. Why don't you do Jack and Jill since you mentioned it?

Because she clearly does not have the connections. Even if new to DC, she would have connections in her previous city to get her in the door here. Coming to an anonymous forum is not going to do it.[/quote]
