TJ offers classes that aren’t available in APS. And IB is more humanities focused. You seriously don’t have a clue.

Because TJ offers classes that aren’r offered in APS?  That’s your justification. You realize that argument can be applied to ANY subject matter.   My theater kids can’t take Advaned Theater 9000 but they could if we as taxpayers let them take classes at GW.  My little Johnny loves Poetry more than anything if he could only take that really necessary class in Lyrical Haiku offered at Georgetown.   And little Bessy down the street is a total sports whiz!  Did you know Sidwell has an amazing Sports Management class!

APS offers college level mathematics and science.  And I know for a fact that the Arlington kids going to MIT are coming from APS — and not TJ.  So, get off your high horse.  These kids will not suffer some tragedy.  They will be just fine!  Like all the other children.  It’s a public system designed to meet the needs of most kids. [/quote]
