Proud to say I have good friends across the whole political spectrum. Maybe there are a few people I don’t seek out because they say obnoxious stuff on social media, but close friends are too important for politics. Why bring it up if you know you’re on opposite sides?[/quote]

Well 2016 and beyond (and especially 2020 and beyond) is very different.  Sure I didn't like GWB (didn't like gore either but knew he was the lesser of two evils), but I could get along with people who supported him.  Now, if someone voted for this Nazi clown and the damages he is doing to our country and the world, well I have a more challenging time wanting to spend time with someone like that.  Almost everyone I know who voted for trump in 2016 and 2020 (less that time) voted for Harris this time---they may not have been thrilled but they were smart enough to realize any vote against Harris was a path to electing trump.  So thankfully, I only have a few friends who I just don't want to be with anymore.  [/quote]
