The national religion will be white nationalist evangelical in nature (read about the Seven Mountains and New Apostolic Reformation), with carve outs initially for Catholics and LDS. Those carve outs will eventually go away because of the leadership structure, loyalties, and international memberships of those churches.
Interesting speculation - had not heard about this. If this is true - and it seems very hard to believe at this stage although Presidents Musk and Trump’s hijacking of the US government also seemed very hard to believe a short while ago - I for one will stop attending church. At the moment, my church is part of religious resistance to Trump and P25 but if they dismantle democracy altogether, which is growing more likely by the day, we could be labeled as enemies of dear MAGA leaders and be shut down. The Bible does describe false prophets in the books of Matthew, Mark, and Revelation. These prophecies warn that false prophets will arise in the end times to deceive people. Matthew Matthew 24:11: "Many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many" Matthew 24:24: "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect" Matthew 7:15: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves" Revelation Revelation 13:11-18: Describes the "final false prophet" who will unite with the Antichrist in a one-world religion It is truly horrible to see religion being misused for amassing power, money and ill gained glories. This is happening for sure but it is hard to believe that most Americans would go along with it since less than half the population identify as white Christians. Most of the world is not white (only 15% are white) and only around a quarter of the world’s population are Christians. It is hard to believe world leaders would agree on any one world religion apart from no official religion. Who knows where all this insanity will end up? May God have mercy on us all.
