Why are Democrats opposing RFK Jr? Yes, he endorsed Trump, maybe handed him the election, but Kamala Harris refused to meet. Why take the same side as Mike Pence? Republicans have had pro-choice cabinet members at Transportation or Homeland, but this is health and human services. If RFK is denied, it will go to a pro-life person. Is this the game plan, Democrats need to run on abortion, so they will go all out against a pro-choice nominee?
Because he and Trump are anti-science and people will unnecessarily die. I don’t want that, even for the people who voted for him. Here’s an example of where we are with science rn. The felon put a medical journal article on hold that was edited by Penn. They want us in the stone ages. From the Philadelphia Inquirer: “A medical journal article stemming from a national symposium on research standards held at the University of Pennsylvania will not be published as planned, pending a review by President Donald Trump's administration, its editors said Monday.” … “The article, coauthored by the HHS Office of Research Integrity (ORI) Director Sheila Garrity, was based on her presentation last October at a Penn symposium entitled "Advancing Trust in Science: Institutional Obligations to Promote Research Integrity."
