My in-state overachiever did not want to attend, even though it is undoubtedly a wonderful school, it felt like settling. She also wanted smaller and to have more geographical diversity. I can see how a similar student that also wants that, that might not get into an Ivy/Ivy+ could make peace with UNC oos as it is known to be “as hard to get into as an Ivy.”[/quote]
