Climate change versus WEATHER.

Climate change is long term trends over decades
Weather is short term day to day

And, what we have going on is a polar vortex, which is cold air that's been displaced from the pole.  And usually that issue of cold polar air being displaced happens because of unusually warm air from elsewhere, such as the pacific ocean, pushing northwards to displace it.  So even though it's cold, it still has something to do with climate change.
