It’s the negative wind chills when they’re at the bus at 630 am or walking half a mile to school that’s the issue babe. It’s the combo of ice AND polar vortex . In no world are they on time with single digit temps and negative wind chills. Obvious delay. Gives them time to warm up buses and get to at least 10 degrees before tossing kids out there. [/quote]

Thanks, [i]babe[/i]. We have been through this polar vortex cycle before. In the past, we have done a delay the first couple days and then go back to normal even though the temps are exactly the same, because everyone realized you can’t have a delay every single time it’s very cold. I’ve been through this cycle a lot in 25 years.[/quote]
