On a nominal basis it’s kind of nothing. [/quote] So what? Pay attention to the news. Many people got slammed with massive insurance hikes, particularly homeowners. I did last year and switched and still got a little increase this year. But it's not just insurance. It's insurance plus everything up increasing. And in the state of Maryland, car registration fees shot up (nearly quadrupled) and other fees are going up. All the increases add up. Significantly. We can weather it but it's definitely outpacing any measly 2.5% COLA I'm anticipating this year. [/quote]
