It works really well for me - I have light skin and very dark hair. You do need to shave/pluck/wax first before using, but I started to notice slower regrowth after just 2 treatments (1 treatment per week) and the hair growth basically stopped after 3 months of treatments. It barely hurts - feels like something hot touching you for just a split second. Effectiveness varies depending on skin/hair tone though (and the device is not recommended for people with darker skin due to discoloration that can occur). [/quote]
