Um not when said sports teams are getting exceptions for real estate taxes, interest tax, deed/recording and transfer taxes. DC Tax payers are covering billionaires for all of these costs AND footing the half a billion dollar bill for the arena upfront.

Remind me how Nats Park was bad for DC? It totally built up a complete disaster of an area in the last 15+ years. Do you not think those new apartments, office parks, condos, restaurants, generate tax revenue versus the slums that it once was?

You would rather DC lose Cap One Arena and not attract the Commanders? These are massive economic wins and really help diversify DC's economy.  You need to invest to create economies. Hist[/quote]
