I can have a 30 minute conversation with somebody and tell them exactly what they need to do to get their life in order. But most my conversations with people are more than 30 minutes, so imagine everything that I figure out about a person once I’ve known them for awhile. Half the people love this trait about me and half the people despise it. When my friends and acquaintances need help they come to me. I know more things about more people than I care to know. I’m very good at keeping a secret. Because I have this ability, I spend most my time with people trying to completely ignoring all the signs because if I read all of them, I might not be able to be friends with anybody. My husband also has this trait, but he never turns it off and he’s not friends with anybody.
This is just called opinionated
Nope intuitive … but you the 50% that just hate being seen for who they are. Also, I don’t judge the people. I understand. I have empathy for them, I understand them.
My intuition tells me that your maiden name is Dunning and your married name is Krueger.
DO - had to look this up The Dunning-Kruger effect is a cognitive bias that occurs when people with limited knowledge or expertise in a particular area overestimate their abilities: I think posters are being too harsh with this PP - if she thinks understanding people within 30 minutes and being to create comprehensive life correction plans is her special gift, so what? She is entitled to her self assessments. I would note though that my DH also used to offer a lot of unsolicited advice, which did not go down well. His social skills have gotten way better since not trying to fix others. It is hard enough to fix ourselves.
