1:5,000,000 (school shooting) vs 1:100,000,000 (bus accident) apparently. But really, anyone who eye-rolled at the activities cancellation... how do you feel about it today? I was driving from Silver Spring to Gaithersburg at 4-5:30pm Friday and there were a few periods of clarity. Most of it was not though. Pedestrians were invisible at times. Snow was sticking to roads and blurring lanes. On the ICC, traffic was moving at 30mph at the most, and other times much slower. I couldn't see my exit sign until well after the lane appeared. Can people drive in those conditions? Of course. Is it also a good idea to encourage people to NOT drive, and to reduce the reasons people would be on the roads at that time? Also yes, imo.[/quote]
