I mean the esprit sweatshirt we all asked for, for Christmas 1988 wasn’t anything to write home about and $$$ for the time but we all wanted it and loved opening exactly what we wanted Xmas morning. Some of you are such grinches, just miserable human stewing in your negativity.

Our white fox order from Black Friday showed up today! Seems like nice quality for the price to me (esp sale price I got).

My parents were solidly middle class - my mom just really liked to go all out for Christmas. School clothes shopping was often done at Ross but Christmas was always a good chance to get the pricier items I wanted bc it was the only time my mom would buy them. Bc it’s Christmas. You seem to have a lot of bitterness.[/quote]
